I have been going to Dalat supermarket for many years, and my father attempted to buy alcohol (he is over 50.) and they refused just because of the fact he is from Mexico. This is unfair, and uncalled for. She said it was a policy, and I don’t agree that it’s a good one.. He has bought alcohol from here before. It is not okay to discriminate just because we are of a diffirent race. This was bad customer service.✊🏽

Đà Lạt Supermarket is a pretty decent spot if you’re looking for basic Vietnamese groceries. They have a good selection , fresh vegetables, pantry staples like fish sauce, rice noodles, herbs, and some specialty snacks. Prices are fair, so shopping here doesn’t feel too heavy on the wallet. There’s also a small section in front with Vietnamese plants and herbs, and I sometimes stop by to grab a few seedlings to plant in the spring, which is really handy. The vegetable and fish sections are generally clean and fresh, but the fish area can get a little messy. Fish are laid out on open metal trays with ice, and the area around them can get a bit dirty from water and fish residue. Customers have to use a plastic bag to pick the fish and put it on a tray, which isn’t super clean, but I think this is pretty common in a lot of Vietnamese markets. The store is a bit small and doesn’t have as many items as some other Vietnamese markets, so I usually go elsewhere if I want more variety in meat or seafood. Staff can be hit or miss too , sometimes friendly, sometimes a bit cold. Parking is easy and convenient, which is a nice bonus compared to some other spots. I still stop by now and then

Pretty spacious supermarket. Has the general stuff you need to cook a Vietnamese meal. It's well ventilated and seems pretty stocked. Some items are more on the pricey side compared to other markets though. The customers consists of many elders which were friendly and chill

Do not know my thoughts on this yet. Loved this market till today. Have shopped here million times. All i wonder is if they take measures to prevent cross contamination. Same orange tray was used for two kinds of meat while i was watching. 😳
